 2. Summary of the Fiction "Onion and Garlic" (Modern Version)

In a modern city, there are two sisters named Onion and Garlic. Onion is an arrogant girl who only cares about social media, while Garlic is a simple girl who diligently helps their mother.

One day, Garlic finds a struggling old lady in the park and helps her. In return, the woman gives him an internship at a big company. Onion, on the other hand, is jealous and tries to emulate Garlic, but he gets into trouble because of his selfishness. Eventually, Garlic succeeds because of his kindness and hard work, while Onion learns to change and become better.

The conquest of Constantinople in 1453 was led by Sultan Mehmed II of the Ottoman Empire. With brilliant military strategy, the Ottoman troops used large cannons to destroy the city's famously strong walls. Mehmed also transported ships overland to besiege the city from the sea.

After a 53-day siege, Constantinople finally fell on May 29, 1453. This conquest ended the Byzantine Empire and marked the beginning of a new era, in which Constantinople was transformed into Istanbul, the capital of the Ottoman Empire. This event is also considered the beginning of the modern period in world history.
